We talked about:
✅ Bitcoin & Money
✅ How disconnected we are from death
✅ How to use your death to live a better life
Erin Crawford is an end-of-life doula and a Bitcoiner 🪙 from Canada 🍁, currently living and travelling 🌍 through Central America. Her podcast “Decentralizing Death” 💀🎙️ is an exploration of how the fiat monetary system has completely distorted our relationship to death and dying ☠️, and how we may be able to utilize the principles of decentralization 🔄 in order to reclaim the sacred in the end of life transition.
Erin believes that Bitcoiners are uniquely positioned to spearhead the “death honesty” movement 💬, as we understand the value of that which is scarce and finite ⌛, and we possess a deep motivation to uncover truth 🕵️♀️.
Erin’s (current) vision for the future 🌟 is to create a decentralized network of eldercare resources; including access to caregiver support 🤲, building independent residential elder and family villages 👵👴, and end-of-life hospice care 🏥.
When she’s not talking 🗣️, reading 📚, or writing ✍️ about death and Bitcoin, Erin is lifting heavy shit 💪 at the gym, watching stand-up comedy 😂, riding her bike 🚴♀️, and planning her next adventure 🏞️.
