Has Socialised Healthcare Been a Failure, and can Bitcoin Fix it?

Government-sponsored healthcare started as a great idea in the 19th century. Leaders like Bismarck in Germany and those in post-war United Kingdom promised to make healthcare a right for everyone, not a privilege. The goal was to protect all citizens from the financial burden of illness. However, over time this system has morphed into something both inefficient and outright dangerous.
Socialised healthcare has failed because it is linked to the devaluation of money. When money loses its value, everything else does too.
So, could Bitcoin fix this?
The Symptoms of Failure
The proof that socialised healthcare has failed, is clearly evidenced by patient outcomes. In Quebec, Canada, a report from April 2025 showed that 332 patients died while waiting for surgery and diagnostic scans.
When a system can’t provide care, it starts offering more sinister alternatives. Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program, launched in June of 2016, has been criticised internationally. A UN report expressed concern about the Canadian Liberal party’s lack of restraint in implementing euthanasia. To the horror of international observers, the sheer number of Canadians being killed by their own government is steadily increasing over time.
It should be noted that the MAiD “service” is a net positive for government coffers, providing huge savings over time and a steady supply of organ donors who can be conveniently “scheduled in”. X influencer Marty Up North breaks down the economics in THIS recent post.
Sadly, this trend has spread to the United Kingdom, where a 3D-printed “suicide pod” was recently promoted in anticipation of the U.K. government’s legalisation of euthanasia. This is not about compassion; it’s an admission of failure. The state’s answer to suffering is no longer treatment, but termination.
The Scottish Covid Inquiry, extensively documented by
hears hundreds of hours of testimony from individuals whose family members had been euthanised by the state in care homes through the use of Morphine and Midazolam. It goes without saying that this was without the patient or their family’s consent.Alongside these issues, there is a push for greater surveillance and control. A recent article in The Times (which appears to no longer be available on their website) outlined the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) plans to screen every baby’s DNA, creating a national genetic database. While this is framed as a public health revolution, it raises serious questions about genetic privacy and state control.
Fiat Medicine and the COVID-19 Response
The COVID-19 pandemic exposed the serious flaws in “fiat medicine,” a top-down system built on mandates and the suppression of dissent.
Early in 2023, geneticist Kevin McKernan discovered DNA contamination in Pfizer’s mRNA injections. This contamination includes the Simian Virus 40 (SV40) promoter, known to trigger cancer. Moreover, the vaccines used in clinical trials were made differently from those distributed to the public, invalidating official claims of safety and efficacy.
📺 You can watch a talk he gave on this subject at last year’s BTC Prague Conference HERE.
It is 15 minutes long and well-worth your time.
Data from analysts like John Beaudoin and Edward Dowd in the slides of Kevin’s talk, shows a “cancer wave” and a spike in excess mortality coinciding with vaccine rollouts. In Japan, the most vaccinated country, excess mortality has surpassed 500,000, a demographic disaster larger than the tsunami and Hiroshima combined.
The Root Cause: Debased Money, Debased Science
Socialised medicine aims to provide healthcare for all, but it has become unsustainable as fertility decreases and the population ages. There simply aren’t enough taxpayers to support the older generation. As the currency is debased, having children becomes less affordable. This leads to an aging population with an insufficient taxpayer base.
Governments have an incentive to reduce the number of elderly and infirm people. This is why we are seeing the proliferation of legislation for assisted dying and other population control incentives.
As AI and robotics provide more automation, this trend is likely to accelerate as governments seek to eliminate what WEF advisor Yuval Harari terms “useless eaters”. That would be me and you. The carbon that the net zero initiatives are actually seeking to reduce.
At its base level, everything is connected to money. A debased, inflationary monetary system creates a debased culture and science. When money can be printed from nothing, all of society becomes warped. Healthcare becomes a crony capitalist enterprise, and Big Pharma is incentivised to create lifelong customers by managing chronic illness.
The Solution: Decentralised Money, Decentralised Medicine
If the problem is centralisation and corrupt incentives rooted in fiat money, the solution must be decentralisation and a system of incorruptible truth. This is the promise of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin provides a perfectly scarce, incorruptible monetary base. By building on this foundation, we can create systems resistant to the cronyism that plagues the current order. McKernan has shown a path forward with his work on decentralised science. His team cryptofunded the sequencing of the cannabis genome, published the data, and conducted a peer-to-peer review proces. All in seven days.
This model offers a blueprint for fixing medicine. It allows for open, transparent, and rapid scientific progress, free from the control of captured institutions. It replaces “fiat science” with verifiable, time-stamped truth.
At an individual level, you can take steps to opt out of the allopathic medical system, ensuring that you maintain good health and a strong immune system through diet, exercise and natural remedies that complement rather than compromise your body’s own healing abilities.
At the end of this article we have included a list of people and resources that can support you in your journey to optimal health.
Conclusion
Socialised healthcare, born from a desire to protect, has become a system of control that has failed its recipients. This failure is a symptom of a deeper disease: a debased monetary system that corrupts everything it touches. The system profits from sickness and offers death as a treatment. The COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent revelations of scientific fraud and vaccine-related injuries are proof of this systemic rot.
The path forward is to build a new system on a foundation of truth. By opting out of fiat money and embracing the decentralised, incorruptible ledger of Bitcoin, we can reclaim our financial sovereignty and bodily autonomy. The journey from socialised medicine to sound medicine begins with sound money and a personal responsibility to look after yourself and your family, rather than outsourcing your well-being to state and corporate run programs.
