1. CO2 Emissions
The Scoop🕵️♂️:
Why you should care🚨: Across the western world, citizens are being taxed in order to subsidise “climate change” mitigation policies. But how effective are these policies? The above graph from “Our World in Data” hows that China is producing by far the most CO2 emissions globally. China and India are behind almost all of the worlds new coal proposals. By contrast the UK emits just 2% of the worlds CO2 emissions. Even if we turn the western world into a stone age society, our efforts to mitigate CO2 will be futile. Meantime, China is producing 80% of the worlds solar panels…and selling the to the west. You have been played.
Is the fight against CO2 a false premise?
We are led to believe CO2 emissions are an existential threat, but how much truth is there to this? 🌱 CO2 is plant food. The more food plants get, the more “alive” the planet is. The more food produced, the more life can be sustained. The Earth's atmosphere contains approximately 0.04% carbon dioxide (CO₂). The minimum amount of CO₂ required to sustain life on Earth is approximately 0.015%. CO2 is what sustains life on this planet, without it, we all die - humans, plants and animals. Why then, do we hear so much about the existential threat that “climate change” poses?
Follow the money and you shall find the morals. The notion that CO2 is warming the planet and thereby putting all life at risk allows for governments around the world to increase taxation, this usually arrives under the guise of a “carbon tax”. According to the World Bank, carbon pricing revenues reached $103 billion in 2023. What they are unable to tell you, is by how much they will reduce the planet’s temperature for every tax dollar you give them. Spoiler alert: it’s zero. Stealing people’s money does not reduce the temperature of the planet. Never has, never will. You have been conned. However, there is a lot of money to be made in the climate change racket. Of the billions pledged by developed countries to fund climate mitigation strategies, much of it is diverted to unrelated projects from which the tax payer derives no benefit and is used to subsidise a plethora of NGOs and various climate industries whose sole purpose is parting tax payers with their money in order to generate profits for themselves and their shareholders. What about the science? For a full understanding of the “science” behind climate change, watch “Climate: The Movie”. This documentary takes a holistic and objective look at the data and separates factoids driven by corporate greed and corruption, from actual science.
What does this have to do with bitcoin? 🪙: While we disagree with the premise of climate change alarmism, if you buy into this narrative, then it has to follow that you support Bitcoin mining. Why? Bitcoin mining is the only technology that allows for methane (which is significantly more warming than carbon according to climate alarmists) to be captured, while making a profit. Methane gas, which is usually flared to avoid emissions, can be harnessed and utilised to power bitcoin miners. There is no better technology for “carbon capture”. This fact is very annoying to the likes of philantropath Bill Gates, who is working overtime to profit off the climate propaganda.
